Malaysian restaurateur and jazz aficionado, Simon Goh, opened Chinta Ria in Cockle Bay in 1998, moving it to Darling Square on the edge of Chinatown 21 years later.
For Simon food is all about making people happy: sharing tasty fun food in comfortable surrounds, ideally with some cool jazz thrown in.
At the end of this year, Simon’s calling it a day – and we’ve decided to farewell Chinta with a delicious long summer seafood lunch!
