A duck and pinot walk is a fun, relaxed way to get together with friends, family, staff or clients. A unique private food event to celebrate birthdays, graduations, retirements and other milestones, or just enjoy a memorable day out together that won’t break the bank. Any day except Monday – from 11.15am to about 3pm

This private food event is suitable for 4–20 guests of any age for celebrations with friends or family, team building or corporate entertainment.

We’ll meet at our first restaurant at 11.15am to enjoy a couple of ducky snacks before wandering on to sample super crispy-skinned barbecue duck then strolling along the road for Peking duck and superb black pepper duck with a few tasty side dishes.

  • Wear comfortable shoes as we’ll be walking for about 5 minutes between restaurants
  • Each person/couple brings a bottle of pinot they’re happy to share
  • Budget-friendly price includes: set lunch over 3 restaurants hosted by food writer and cookbook author Roberta Muir (includes Chinese tea, corkage, tip)
  • Easily accessible by public transport; parking also available
  • Add an online Asian cooking class to remind your guests of their fun day out (see below)

What an amazing morning touring Sydney Produce Market with Roberta - meeting the growers & agents of some amazing produce & tasting things along the way. My favourites were the red & yellow prickly pears, jujubes, longans, & fresh pistachios. Next was Gozleme for breakfast in Auburn then a tour & tasting at Gima Turkish supermarket & Harkola Middle Eastern warehouse. Highly recommended.

I recently joined Roberta with friends & colleagues on the Duck & Pinot Walk - incredible afternoon visiting 3 duck restaurants, each very different to the other. Superbly organised! Roberta's first hand knowledge of each dish and her relationship with the restaurant owners made for an extremely enjoyable & memorable time. Would recommend this for families, work functions or just friends getting together.
