Marriage Ceremony

Marriage Ceremony

Your marriage ceremony is the heart of your wedding day — a celebration of your love, commitment and the unique bond that brings you together.

It’s about connection and taking a moment to pause, breathe, and embrace the significance of this new chapter in your lives.

It’s also about sharing your story, promises and hopes with those who matter most to you.

Whether grand and glamorous or small and intimate, it reflects who you are as a couple.
From heartfelt vows to a cheeky joke or two, your ceremony should feel authentic.

As your celebrant*, I’m here to help you craft a ceremony that’s not only legally binding but also genuinely you.

A marriage ceremony is:

  • A public exchange of promises and declaration of your commitment to each other
  • A celebration of that commitment with your nearest and dearest
  • An opportunity to reflect your spiritual beliefs and observe cultural traditions
  • A ‘right of passage’ that marks the beginning of the next stage of your life

A marriage ceremony also establishes a legally-binding contract between you. Under Australian law, marriage is ‘the union of two people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.’
